The Stations of the Cross offer a poignant reflection on the events preceding Jesus’ suffering, His death on the cross and His resurrection. Guided scripture readings and personal reflection encourage Christians to contemplate Jesus’ love and emulate His sacrifice by bearing their own crosses (see Matthew 16:24-26). The journey to each station facilitates focused prayer and meditation, deepening our faith and understanding of Christ’s sacrifice. It is because of His sacrifice and victory over death that we celebrate the resurrection on Easter.
Guided scripture readings will be accessible via the Christ’s Church app beginning March 28.
While this journey is deeply personal, there will be ministry staff on site at various times throughout the weekend to provide prayer and address questions about Jesus’ journey to the Cross.
The Stations of the Cross will be located at the Mandarin Campus, 6045 Greenland Road. When you enter the campus, follow the signs to the far east side of the campus and park near the lake. Instructional signs and maps will be available.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Station I Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that you will remove self from decisions and yield to God’s plans and purposes for our life and ministry.
Station II Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that Jehova Rapha, the Great Physician, will heal the wounds of betrayal, and forgiveness will be applied to those who’ve been hurt.
Station III Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that we will never become so consumed by trends, appearances or legalism that we lose sight of our relationship with Jesus.
Station IV Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that we would remain strong in the face of intimidation and persecution.
Station V Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that the Holy Spirit will develop eyes in us that sees what he sees and a heart to feel what he feels.
Station VI Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray for those in our lives who require an extra measure of grace and patience and that we would serve them like Jesus would serve them.
Station VII Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray for the burdens those in our lives are carrying.
Station VIII Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that our heart will grow to serve the broken, marginalized, looked over, forgotten and lost people of our community.
Station IX Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that wherever we go we would carry and distribute His peace and comfort to the hurting.
Station X Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that we live in the full measure of the inheritance we have as children of the Most High God.
Station XI Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that we remove any distractions in our lives from pursuing Jesus and that our lives would be consumed by Him.
Station XII Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray a prayer of humble gratitude for the sacrifice that Jesus made for you.
Station XIII Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that we will have a heart a generosity and share what God has so generously shared with us.
Station XIV Personal Prayer Prompt: Pray that we will not lose sight of the victory Jesus achieved on the cross and that we will live in the confidence of our resurrection life.
